Whatsapp added group description feature to their app. Currently speaking, the feature is live on its android app but don't know of iOS. The feature was on test as of yesterday according to WABeta and today it's live. The feature is said to be of help in organizing whatsapp groups and less rules violent. With the group description, newly added members Can easily note down what the group is all about. As for those who joined with group invition link, he or she will decide whether to stay or not by just reading the description of the group.  At the moment, every user of the latest whatsapp version 2.18.57 can access the group description be it group admin or just a member. To use the group description feature, admin need to tap on group info, Under the group name you will see the description bar. To update yours, kindly head to playstore by Clicking Here or use Aptodia third party store. |
