Yes,the dog will understand and accept u as his/ her new master.its psycological,just like when you meet someone new;you don't rush at them,u mind urself.just give d dog 2-3days under ur watch,after dn,u can handle him/her whichever way that pleases you. Dogs r not crazy;young / old,mild/aggressive,wot dey need is love&care..

a simple psychological way to know if the dog will accept u is to try asking the owner or u to shift or remove the food plate while it feeds(dont try with ur hands, a stick will just do) if it doesn't growl or show any aggression towards anyone then u can proceed with the negotiations but if it growls at anyone, u ve got a killer don't dont buy.

Bitch with pups from her last litter in october. Still available.

As many dogs as i have,there r some i can pick from their plate while eating but for my Neapos,i wont try it& yet,dey r very loyal & obidient 2 me.My point is,u cant judge from their reaction towards you when eating,dogs dont joke with their food.
