New Minimum Wage Commences September, FG Says by ybtcnews: 7:49pm On Feb 26, 2018
The federal government on Monday assured the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and entire workforce of the country that the new national minimum wage will commence, latest by end of September this year.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, who made this known in Abuja at an event marking the 40th anniversary of NLC, disclosed that the federal government would announce the new minimum wage before the end of the third quarter which is September.

2. Pantami decries underutilization of NITDA’s deployed ICT Infrastructures
The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA, Isa Pantami has expressed displeasure over the action by some organizations that lock up NITDA’s various intervention projects to the detriment of the host communities.

4.Monkey stole lawmakers’ N70m from My Farm, Adamu Says

The sum of N70m belonging to the Northern Senators Forum has been alleged to have been stolen from the farm of Senator Adamu located in Nasarawa State.

Senator Adamu, the lawmaker representing Nasarawa West, has been the Chairman of the forum in the 8th Assembly.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, read a letter from the Northern Senators Forum, saying Senator Abdullahi Adamu has been removed as the Chairman.
