ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROOF THAT THE BIBLE IS REAL! PROPHET ISAIAH’S SEAL FOUND!

In Israel, archaeologists state that they have found an 8th century BCE clay seal mark that may have the signature of the Biblical Prophet Isaiah.

On February 22 (2-22), the Times of Israel, announced an astonishing discovery. The seal of the man who prophesied Isaiah 22:22 in an archeological dig near the southern steps of the Temple Mount.

I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them. (Isaiah 22:22)

According to the Times of Israel:

"In find of biblical proportions, Prophet Isaiah’s seal claimed to be unearthed.” Chanced upon near a seal identified with King Hezekiah, a tiny clay piece may be the first-ever proof of the prophet…"

In the Ophel, an area below the Temple Mount, excavators found the seal mark, called a bulla, in untouched Iron Age remains, just 10 feet from where in 2015 the bulla of King Hezekiah of Judah was found.

This extraordinary object is estimated to be around 2,700 years old, was discovered by Dr. Eilat Mazar of the Hebrew University. On Thursday, she reported on her discovery in the Biblical Archaeology Review magazine.

Mazar wrote, "We appear to have discovered a seal impression, which may have belonged to the prophet Isaiah, in a scientific, archaeological excavation."

The discoverers think the bulla was discovered in situ and undisturbed all this time outside what is believed to be the ancient kingdom’s royal bakery.

The half-inch wide oval-shaped piece of clay is inscribed with the name Yesha'yah[u] (Isaiah) in ancient Hebrew script. The word nvy follows this, but experts are not sure if the word ended with the Hebrew letter aleph. Dr. Mazar explained that the letter "would have resulted in the Hebrew word for 'prophet' and would have definitively identified the seal as the signature of the prophet Isaiah. The absence of this final letter, however, requires that we leave open the possibility that it could just be the name Navi."

"The name of Isaiah, however, is clear," Mazar added.

During Isaiah’s period, King Hezekiah, the 12th king of the Kingdom of Judah, ruled from around 727 B.C.E. to about 698 B.C.E. Given their symbiotic relationship as described in the Bible,

Mazar states that discovering the bulla of the prophet right by that of the king "should not come as a surprise."

There are several biblical occurrences of exchanges between Isaiah and Hezekiah which signify the prophet was a spiritual advisor to the king. Isaiah reassured the ruler that the Israelites would survive the siege. Mazar wrote, "The names of King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah are mentioned in one breath 14 of the 29 times the name of Isaiah is recalled (2 Kings 19–20; Isaiah 37–39). No other figure was closer to King Hezekiah than the prophet Isaiah."

The finding of the seal gives credibility to the account that it had, been a key city during the Iron Age. Hezekiah's seal had essentially been discovered inside the royal building in Jerusalem where it had actually been used 2,700 years ago which proves its validity.

Also, the discovery of prophet Isaiah’s seal (if that's what was found) suggest that where it had been used is proof that ancient Jerusalem is the Judahite capital.

If anything with these discoveries of the seals with first of Hezekiah and now possibly of the prophet Isaiah, are evidence of their existence. The Bible is real Y'all!

Other amazing Biblical discoveries include:

In January, archaeologists publicized the discovery of a large 1,500-year-old pool and an elaborate fountain at the site of an ancient church near Jerusalem.

Just in November 2017, there was also new evidence that dated Christ’s tomb in Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre to the Roman era that matched historical records.

Additionally, archaeologists unearthed a stunning 1,500-year-old Christian mosaic in the ancient Mediterranean coastal city of Ashdod-Yam, which is now part of the modern city of Ashdod.

The skeleton of a pregnant woman, dating back 3,200 years, was discovered in Israel’s Timna Valley, at a place once named King Solomon’s Mines.

In Jerusalem, archaeologists revealed that they had uncovered a new section of the Western Wall that has been hidden for 1,700 years, in October 2017.

Also, in 2017 near the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, an ancient Greek inscription was found on a 1,500-year-old mosaic floor.

Several experts think that they have found the lost Roman city of Julias which was previously the village of Bethsaida and was also the home of Jesus' apostles Peter, Andrew, and Philip.
