Following up with the increase of characters and a deliberate clamp down on Tweetdeck spam and cross-posting abuse, Twitter has come up with 3 new features designed to make you get the best out of the social networking giant.

The 3 new features via their official Twitter handle which includes; the ability to send Direct message tweets to others, Share tweets via email or text message and lastly bookmarks for tweets.



Perhaps the most interesting feature; Bookmarks for Tweets is an improvement over the like button (which was also changed from favorites), gives you the ability to save your tweets for later reading. It is better than saving in the ‘Likes’ area as bookmarks are only viewable by you when saved.
