The sad reality is that 90% of GDP is from oil and gas which employs less than 0.1% of the population And the wealth from these resources is concentrated on less than 5% of the population, mostly the political class and not industrialists 3 Likes |

It seems this thread not controversial. Its weird the state didn't bother to put year. At least Akwa Ibom put a number to their claim. When Obiano said Anambra had 4th highest GDP there was no dollar amount provided. Anyway I would like NBS to supply a complete list of GDPs by State. Everyone making claims so they should put it issue to rest. Who is second highest? I assume Lagos is first naturally. |
