It appear Nigerian singer, Kiss Daniel is wanted by the Nigerian Police. It is not quite clear why the singer is wanted but he currently has a case with his estranged recorded label, G-Worldwide Entertainment, a case bordering on breach of contract.

Last year, Kiss Daniel, real name Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, floated his own record label which he calls Fly Boy Inc and has since been seen performing at shows. This led to a public announce from G-Worldwide claiming the singer still has three years left on his contract with them. In response, Daniel came out with claims that he was treated poorly while at the label that shot him to limelight. This led to back and forth media publications from both parties before G-Worldwide dragged the music artiste to court.

A Federal High Court in Lagos on November 30, granted an order that all parties should maintain the status quo pertaining to the contract that was initially signed in 2013. After weeks of hide-and-seek, Kiss Daniel finally got served court papers by his estranged label, G-Worldwide. This was after the court granted an order of substituted service, that the papers should be pasted on the gate of his house in Lekki Phase Two, Ajah-Lekki, Lagos, and in a national daily. According to the label, the court papers were pasted on Daniel’s gate on Friday, December 15, 2017.

Meanwhile, in the writ of summons served on the artiste, the court ordered Kiss Daniel to make an appearance before it within 30 days of receiving the court papers, or the case would go to trial in his absence.

After the court order was served to Kiss Daniel to maintain status quo in regards to the 2013 contract, an order that will see him remain a G-Worldwide artiste pending the court proceedings, the singer could be seen on social media posting pictures of his performance at shows. He has even released two new songs with music videos all under his Fly Boy Inc.

Since Kiss Daniel recieved the court papers ordering him to appear before 30 days elapses, WotzupNG can report to you that he hasn’t appeared before the Federal High Court. An order has been given for his arrest wherever he is found, which may lead to the singer getting handcuffed.

WotzupNG has in its possession a screenshot which reveals that the singer got wind of the information of a warrant for his arrest. That information could be the reason why he has gone underground and is nowhere to be found. We do not know if the Nigerian Police now operate by passing information through social media to suspects whom they want to arrest, but what we do know is that the Lagos State PRO, Opetodolapo Badmus passed information of Kiss Daniel’s arrest warrant to him via social media. Opetodolapo, who is known to be friends with so many celebrities, dropped a comment on one of the singers Instagram post. Going by the comment, it appears she must have sent a DM to the singer which he probably didn’t see. This could be as a result of the fact that celebrities get tonnes of DMs, and hers must have been drowned by others. This probably led her to make use of the comment section of the singer’s Instagram page where she wrote ”check your dm! Police wants you”.

This is so unprofessional of the woman. How can you pass such information to a suspect? It seems her friendship with celebrities really got into her head that she now thinks she can cover their ass for them while they fart.

G-Worldwide should sue the woman.

The height of unprofessionalism. This means that if a commoner has a case against a celebrity, this woman will scuttle it just to be in the good books of the celebrity or to increase her celeb friend base.
