The youth remains resourceful, only if they are trained, and engaged, but if there are not, they will rather be a liability. Egba said.

NDDC is currently training 200 Nigerian youth at the Innoson Academy at the moment and wants to train more.

“We don’t want our youth to be a liability, rather we’d prefer they are resourceful, so that they can contribute to development in the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large”. Sentor Egba also added.

He commended Chief Chukwuma Innocent of Innoson Motors on putting dear Nigeria on good scale of Vehicle Manufacturing Country amongst other great nations in the world.

He pleaded with Nigeria Federal and State government to patronize and embrace a Nigeria made products and put to halt the importation of vehicles and other products which we’re capable of making as ours even compete with the international standards, he also narrated how it would improve and encourage our local brands.

Speaking at the event, the owner of Innoson Motors, Chukwuma Innocent revealed his Company plans to open factories in the Niger Delta region. His company is committed in putting the country as a hub of car manufacturing in Sub-Sahara Africa.

He also urged the trainees undergoing mentoring to put their very best and commitment as they’d be offered an automatic employment after their training program. Innoson concluded.

With more initiative such as this in Nigeria, it will sure boost the productivity of a typical Nigeria youth.
