EMPLOYMENT ALERT: THE NEW RECRUITMENT SCAM TO AVOID.

I will not bore you with the bogus numbers from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as at last quarter of 2017.

The statistical results which states that the unemployed persons figure hit a high at 11.9 million, and will double in numbers by the end of the 1st quarter of 2018.

What I'm going to show you instead are the signs to lookout for...

Acts that pinpoint a scam

How To dodge the recruitment scam bullet...

Better still, how to avoid falling into Recruiting agents scam pit.

Pay close attention...

As I'm about to reveal the Modus Operandi of these professional scammers.

Below is just a few their blood sucking activities:

1. They share fliers by the roadside.

2. There's a data bank where they access your email address and phone number according to your geographical location.
This is why you receive sms and emails from people you don't know and supposed organizations you've never heard about.

3. They ask you for an outrageous amount of money to secure and lock the spot for you in a fictitious company

4. They use government agencies and ministries as camouflage. Although, some government agents/staff also participate in this abominable act.

5. When you apply for a job interview set up by this fraudsters, one of two things happen :
A. you get an invite in your mailbox and an SMS congratulating you for being shortlisted for an interview within 30-45mins.
B. You get invited to partake in an interview and aptitude test.
C. You are then recalled for screening. Here's where they pull the big guns out by asking you to come along with a stipulated amount of money between the range of #10,000-250,000 depending on the type of job.

A good number job seeking Nigerians have fallen for and continue to fall for this dastardly act.

Here's a quick parting one. Be mindful and watchful.

If you apply for a job and you get a reply within 45mins or less, it's a big SCAM.

If you're asked to bring money along to an interview or screening, please take to the hills... you are about to be defrauded.
