so just like that, that's how Nigeria's government increased the price of fuel.
first the scarcity, so when the price increases and it's available, Nigerians will be begging to buy it at the new price.
and no one is saying anything.
only few fuel stations still sell at the old price..
What a country
transportation and foodstuffs prices have now gone up without any hope for reversal, the poor getting poorer

From the look of things here in Abeokuta it has returned to normalcy as there seem to be no queues on sight.

The situation here is nothing short crazy. The filling stations here are empty. No patronage from the residents at all!
In fact one filling station (name witheld) attendant kept pleading with me to come and buy their fuel. I said no, I am not inteterested!
That was how he still kept begging me to patronise them o. He even threatened to commit suicide if turn him down again.
To cut the short story long, I ended up buying 10 litres at #85 per litre.Help me thank APC for this change.

Here in Benin, I Bought @ the official pump Price at the nnpc mega station yesterday. Tho there was a queue but it was worth it. others are selling at 180/190 per litre. I'm surprised Nigerians have actually settled with this new price regime. if petrol prices are eventually increased, I'm sure there will be little or no resistance.
