National Youth Online Seminar Holds again, 1st of May 2010

Dear Comrade,

Due to popular demand, there will be a rerun of National Youth Online Seminar on Saturday 1st of May 2010.

The theme of this seminar is "ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The ABC'S of building a successful business in Nigeria". The speaker for this occasion is Mr. Chika Nwobi, he is the Managing Partner L5Lab, and was also former Group CEO of MTech PLC, which he co-founded and helped to expand to other countries in Africa like; Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Ivory Coast, serving the likes of MTN, Glo, Zain, Virgin Nigeria, Pepsi, Nigerian Breweries and Nokia.
He has had Consulting engagements with Ford Foundation (mobile-based microfinance management systems) and IFC (World Bank). Before Mtech Mr. Chika worked as a solution consultant at Airtuit (USA). He graduated as an Honors scholar from East Tennessee State University, USA with a BA in Economics and a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
Mr Nwobi was a nominee for the Future Awards Entrepreneur of the Year and Young Person of The Year, 2007. He has served as a Mentor for Fate Foundation Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program and has spoken at several youth empowerment events including GOTNII, OAU IFE and The Future Summit.
He has also been an invited speaker twice at the GSM Africa conference in Cape Town, South Africa. Chika left his position at MTech PLC in November 2008 in order to focus on his interest in partnering with other young entrepreneurs to launch new businesses. He remains a major shareholder and a member of the board of Directors of MTech Plc.
