Nigerian on Air Personality Toke Makinwa has issued some words of advice and inspiration to help people relieve their stress over words of condemnation from the public.

Toke issued this word of encouragement through her instagram page. She said that when her marriage was shattered that most of the people that had blasted her cannot put their own house in order yet they are quick to see faults in others, only because they have been able to keep their away from the public.

She went further to encourage them that no matter how hard and wild their statements are don’t let that come to you because it’s their opinion and not your problem.

“In my own words, invest in your glow up For anyone out there living in the fear of being judged or misunderstood, listen – ‘Greatness is first despised before being celebrated’. Do you, do you over and over again and remember it’s really not that serious. I remember when my marriage broke up, I was judged by people who didn’t even have their shit together, years after I’ve seen some of those people go thru their own battles, some even worse than I did and it taught me to be kind, to have compassion to face my front cos nobody has it easy. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle that you know nothing about, let God alone be the judge of all of us cos it’ll be a damn shame if you perfect Nancy don’t make heaven because you played judge here on earth. #wednesdaymotivation #judgenot #liveforyourself,” she wrote.

In March 2016, Toke Makinwa after all the messy infidelity scandal surrounding the exploits between her husband, Maje Ayida and his longtime girlfriend, Anita Solomon which even resulted in a pregnancy filed for a divorce, claiming she couldn't go on with the relationship.

I wonder if people actually understand that that their noses are meant to be on their faces and never to be found in other people's business. And this is the more reason why people are suffocating because of priority misplacement. I hate it when I see people meddling in people's marriages.
