A man in Peru has been arrested on murder charges after he allegedly used a mortar bomb as a intimacy gadget on his wife, killing her in the process.

According to Peruvian news outlet Peru21, Dr. Ruben Valera Cornejo was having sex with his wife, Alisson Llerena de Mediburu,. During the drunken, intimate act, Valera Cornejo’s wife allegedly asked him to use objects from around their home as intimacy gadgets.

Among the long, insertable objects in the couple’s home was a mortar bomb.

Valera Cornejo reportedly told cops he fell asleep during the lovemaking session. When he awoke he found Llerena de Mediburu unconscious.

“I do not remember how many sexual objects we had, nor do I remember the characteristics of the sexual object that I introduced or the time I did it,” the doctor said in a police statement.
