Dissatisfied with the cler­ic who reportedly wed­ded a man, Mr. Ejindu, at Agbala Amangwu Amaogudu in Abiriba, Ohafia local Gov­ernment area, Abia state, the Anambra state branch Chair­man of Civil Liberties Organi­sation (CLO), Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, has demanded for the immediate investigation of the cleric.

He said that such a wedding was against Christian doctrine, stating that if the pastor was not brought to book, others would follow suit.

“Is this pastor using the Holy Bible? If this pastor does not believe in the teachings of Je­sus Christ, one man one wife, why is he parading himself as a pastor? Why has the lead­ership of Christianity not con­demned and suspended him for this sacrilege?” he queried.

He urged the South East gov­ernors and others to designate Ministry of Religious Affairs to checkmate the illegal activ­ities of such overzealous and evil-minded men of God are in­terested in earthly benefits.

He said such pastors extort outrageous money from their unsuspecting victims.
