Sawdust. Yes I mean saw dust, most consultant will tell you the negative side of using saw dust but I'm yet to notice one.
Since the price of Wood shaving skyrocketed in my area to 600/700 a bag and realising that the wood shaving is actually 70% saw dust a made a shift to sawdust of just 100/bag.

overcoming the Gumboro challenge.

I have received numerous calls from farmers having challenges with gumboro. Gumboro can be devastating as it can wipe up all ur labour in just 3 days. but thanks be to God. you can overcome it with this simple and easy therapy.
1. You need coke and Maggi cube.
2. For each bottle of coke, you will need 4 cubes of Star Maggi
3. The no of coke required is dependent on the no of birds you have . but note that each birds will consume between 3-5ml of the therapy.
4. After dissolving the Maggi in the coke, use Syringe to administer orally to the birds at 3-5ml per birds depending on the age.
5. after the administration of the therapy, use polidine with any good antibiotics. polidine should be @ 3ml to 10litres.
6. If you can not lay ur hand on polidine use IODINE @ 1ml to 3 litres and combine it with good antibiotics in the drinking water.
7. Spray the pen with higher concentration of Polidine or Iodine @ 1 ml to 1 litre.
8. change wood shaving or liters
9. repeath therapy the next day for weak birds

I do broilers all year round

Locally fabricated cage, it goes for 65000 in my area here for a unit that can accommodate 96 birds

Good Evening Boss.....I recently got into the poultry biz,but it becoming very expensive to feed them so i've read on how to make the feeds myself,but don't know where to get the ingredients in lagos

I'm based in Abuja so can't help ur situation now, depending on the nos of birds you have, you may need to stick to commercial feed if you want better result. There is more to feed formulation .
