Why do people come on Nairaland and ask others to check their jamb scores for them?

I have seen several of these posts and truly does not understand the rationale.

If you can come to www.nairaland.com to post, you can also go to: http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults to check your result unless there is something am missing.

Sorry but not everyone has the right browser to check.For example i am using a Nokia asha 308 and the uc browser and operamini cant eveb check it,and my parent are usually very busy to be at home.

Ok, I just checked yours; it still not yet out..just chill till 2pm as JAMB indicated....it just about 20 minutes away.

Good way to take your mind off? Maybe some 20 minutes workout exercise or something.

But, this is Nigeria and anything goes.....so the 2pm can be Africa time for any time, any day, any week or even month....but it gives a yardstick with which to hold them accountable, if not done and cuts down on their excuses.
