This is to inform all candidates who duly registered and participated on the ongoing 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) that the result has been release.

This was made know to liveschoolnews.org grapevine by the board spokesman, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

Benjamin, however, stated that they will be delayed, as there was need to preview them before they would be eventually released.

“Once a candidate clicks submit, the result is ready but we wait to preview the results before releasing so we don’t cancel results later. You can detect malpractice even after exams,” he said.

Benjamin also hinted that there are plans for the examination to be written from candidates’ homes in future.

“We are thinking of open book examinations or allowing them write the examination from their houses. Once we get the required technology, we can do it,” he declared.

Candidates that took their exam from march 9 can now check their results by following the procedures below.

– Go to JAMB portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/ExamSlipPrinting1/CheckUTMEResults

– Enter your Email Address or Reg Number.

– Click on ‘ “Check My Results”.

– Your results will be made available to you.

– If selected, and it displays “No Result Yet”, Don’t panic, as JAMB usually release the results in batches. You can as well contact the help lines on their website if you experience more challenges.

It would be recalled that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede recently announced that it will take two or three days to release the results.
