Catalan Giants are beginning to now hit top gear, taking both La Liga and the Champions League by storm this season.

Barcelona currently lead La Liga from Atletico Madrid by a margin of eight points, such has been their dominance this season.

They were in action at Malaga on Saturday where goals from former Liverpool duo Luis Suarez and Phillipe Coutinho sealed them all three points. The Spanish club topped Group D in the Champions League to reach the last-16, finishing above Juventus and sending out a message to their fellow competitors that they mean business this season.

Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde:

Ernesto Valverde is facing a bit of selection headache as he is without key midfielders Philippe Coutinho (ineligible) and perhaps Andres Iniesta (due to injury). Iniesta trained on Monday but is unlikely to start due to a hamstring injury handing Barca a huge blow. Nelson Semedo, Denis Suarez and Sergi Samper are also all doubts for this huge Champions League clash.
