First and foremost, i will like congratulate candidates that scored above 200 in the ongoing JAMB 2018. You should also note that you still have to get yourself aware of the latest tips on admission.

A "JAMBITE" messaged me on facebook saying, " Will there be POST UME this year?" . I promised the JAMBITE that i will get back to him.

If you can remember vividly, the minister of education cancelled POST UME in the year 2016 and introduced another system which was referred to as " Point System ". Point system was all about grading your olevel and UTME results with points, then converting it to 100%.

Last year which is 2017, the minister of education allowed schools to conduct post utme in which alot of schools actually did post utme.


As at this year, March 2nd, 2018, a news was released that the "court has declared post jamb as illegal ", which means conducting post utme is not recognize by the law.

Therefore, there are chances that there will be POST UTME and there will be no POST UTME this year. As at now, nobody is 100% sure about it. I will advise you to keep preparing so that you won't be caught unawares.
