Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Thursday spoke on what is expected of President Muhammadu Buhari over unjust killings by herdsmen the country.

Soyinka said he does not expect Buhari to be shedding “unjust tears” but wants him to go against the “bloodthirsty terrorists”.

Speaking in Lagos, he said, “I get impatient when I hear things like Buhari has failed to go and sympathise with the people of Benue, with the people of Nassarawa, with the people of Dapchi or wherever.

“Who needs sympathy? Is it sympathy that will reorder their broken lives? Is sympathy the issue? We are speaking here of one commodity that is fundamentally human deserving, justice.

“There should an internal measure to avoid repeat. We are speaking here of a president that will respond with massive action and not showing up at the arena of human desecration to shed any unjust tears, but give orders that the bloodthirsty terrorists are brought to book.”

If Fulani herdsmen were some other tribes killing northerners/fulanis in their homes all over the country...there would have been pictures of ...even innocent people arrested with huge display of fake weapons collected by the security agents. Most of the images would include those humuliated in capture...like those submerged in dirty water...and those chained to their legs with no shirts...Hardly would the Fulanis be treated in this manner.

How many of these terrorists have been summarily killed like those kidnappers who are summarily killed in River state...?

Instead we have heard of police personnel killed by these Fulani terrorists and nobody has been arrested or taken to court.

Honestly, this is not how a country should be governed?

Anybody that is expecting buhari to declare his kins-men terrorist is jst wasting his/her time.. Enjoy the change u voted for, and anybody that is thinking that buhari is going to loose 2019 election is jst dreaming..

The country belongs to the Fulanis. So how can you arrest the owner of a land and leave the trespassers roaming.

Buhari will continue to stand aloof and watch his Fulani Herdsmen terrorists unleash terror on Nigerians.
I don't blame him, he won't act against his kinsmen.
I blame the National Assembly that cant force him to act or impeach him for not acting. And why are Civil Society Organization not protesting for the Proscription of Fulani herdsmen?
