The Majority Leader, Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Chinedum Orji has led other youths in the State to endorse Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for a second term in office.

Chief Orji was addressing a mammoth crowd as the Chairman of the Abia Mega Youths Rally Grand finale held at the Umuahia township stadium. He led thousands of Abia youths to pass a vote of confidence on the Governor and adopted him as the sole gubernatorial candidate in 2019.

According to the law maker, justice demands that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu completes his two tenures as other former Governors from Abia North and Central did. He called on Abia youths to get their Permanent Voters Cards, saying that the card is their power.

In a reaction, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu commended Abia youths for being enterprising saying his proud of them. The Governor said he is confident that the crop and number of youths supporting the administration would outweigh those opponents who thrive in carrying ballot boxes during elections.

He challenged those who would want to contest against the ruling party in the State to paste their posters on the projects they have done for ABIA people, warning that nobody should paste bills on the projects done by him.

The Governor also congratulated the awardees of the Abia Mega Rally.
