In this tutorial, I will show you a simple method to get free unlimited VPN using Opera browser.

VPNs refer to Virtual Private Networks and they are useful for masking our Internet Protocol addresses. Sometimes, websites might be blocked at work or due to geographical restrictions and VPNs come in handy to be able to access these blocked websites.

Not many people know that new opera versions have a free VPN tucked somewhere in there but I will show you where they are hidden.

Step 1

Download the latest version of Opera here. Navigate to the Settings bar at the top left corner




Step 2

Under Settings, Navigate to ‘Privacy & Security’


Step 3

Select ‘Enable VPN’ and ‘Bypass VPN for default search Engines’

Enabling the bypass means that your typical google search will still go through your local Google search as against that of the country you have chosen.


Step 4

The search bar starts to show VPN active with a blue sign. Click on the sign and select preferred location.


Step 5

Select from available list. Optimal location means the VPN will automatically select and connect to the fastest server available
