An SS1 Ritman College student was asked to write an essay on Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien;below is the first paragraph of the essay:

"Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien, the founder of Ritman Group, including the Ritman Schools-Nursery/Primary, Secondary and the University-is an Engineer by profession. To say that the Distinguished Senator is a noble and role model for the younger generations is not an over-statement considering his worth, which has been boldly written on the sands of time..."

AND

A 300-level student of Economics of a federal university displayed the following language in the opening of her analysis of Nigeria's problem:

"One of the big problem Nigeria have is lack of good leadership and accountable in managing it's resources. If the government can be able to go a bits further to involve multinational expertise..."

I therefore call on language technicians to come forward and spot the difference.
