Do you believe that the "north" has an agenda or the Muslims are bad or violent? It's not true. Our problems has been our inability to identify the real enemies and handle them. If you've been to northern Nigeria or have good knowledge of the towns in the north, you will discover that no northern community is in peace except the areas where Fulanis have fully conquered. The Hausas are peace-loving and accommodating people but today they are gone. The Hausas and other tribes in the North have been displaced, killed, captured and enslaved by the Fulanis. They are called permanent slaves by the Fulanis. The Fulanis have no known state, it's Nigeria they lay strong claim on and it has been a longtime plan to conquer every corner of Nigeria. It was Saduana of sokoto who said that the place called Nigeria is the property of their grandfather, Uthman Danfodio, and they will protect it with any means available. More statements akin to this pervade history. The killings by both Fulani herdsmen, as they are called, and by boko haram are simply an extension of jihad. It's has been going on for long but more pronounced now because they are using the state machineries to push for it. Saduana of sokoto also described the hausas and other northern tribes as easy tools who can be used when they are loyal but killed when otherwise. Boko haram is a good example of the foregoing. Are you not surprised that Nigerian military bombed Rann IDP camp twice? Who was the pilot that did the bombing and who gave the instructions? How many Fulanis are in idp camps? Have you heard Fulanis are in IDP camps? Aren't you shocked that recently in Adamawa bombs dropped by Nigerian air force landed in churches, farmlands and homes where children and women were killed in large number? In Edo, the killer Fulani who was arrested was released by "some Nigerian soldiers" who killed the vigilante who made the arrest. Why didn't the army sponsor the autopsy to ascertain the source of the bullet that killed the vigilante? What made IG of police after having a meeting with buhari say that Benue killings were mere communal clashes? Do you think that killings will end in Benue? While Yorubas and Igbos regale in puerile superiority complex, the Fulanis are inching deeper into their lands, killing their people, testing their courage. While Igbos and Yorubas argue frenetically over apc and pdp their lands are being taken by the Fulanis? Muslims are not bad and not all Fulani people are in the know of what is happening. Some muslims who are violent are the easy tools the Fulanis use. Even during the civil war northern christians were used. The jihadist Fulanis don't care if you're a muslim or not. What they are after is your land, a territory they will call their own. I call on the Igbos and the Yorubas who watched Hausa, their brother, die not to allow what happened to hausa happen to them. It's only a foolish man who will allow what knocked his teeth to blind his eyes. The killers have no religion, no political party and they are united in their actions. Three people who are united can kill 3000 people who are not united. If we remain divided they way we are today, our land will be taken and we won't do anything. The north has no agenda. The Fulanis do.

In Guinea the fulanis are the majority, but they don't have political power...but in Nigeria, the reverse is the case.

I blame this on the intelligent, educated but foolish southern tribes, except the Igbos who have been kicking dust since Nigeria got independence.

Listen. Very soon, Fulani will no longer be part of Nigeria. Just a matter of time.

Meanwhile, kudos to the OP. What you have written up here is the truth.

The Average man can't even differentiate a Fulani from and an Hausa man cos it's not written on their forehead. In his perception they are the same people from the North. Me I don't know who is Fulani or Hausa. Aboki na Aboki.

It is easy to spot the difference between Fulani and Hausa people. Fulani are fairer with Oval facial structure, unlike the Hausas who are predominately dark with less oval facial structure.

Give an Igbo man Power and watch him put the Fulani in their place forever and ever. I think the Igbo presidency should be the final puzzle. If after an Igbo president, Nigeria still remains same, then Nigeria can never work! Let see if it's the Igbo that has the magic wand.

What the OP wrote is 110% correct and if Igbos and Yorubas refuses to dialog and come to fight this monsters then we all are going to regret it for life.

Only the Eastern front will be very difficult to over run by the fulanis.

Foolish post. The Igbo stood up to the Hausa Fulani but the entire country ganged up against them. Today they have come to realise what we knew over 40 years ago. Kanu continued the struggle but those whose indolence are perpetually challenged by the republican Igbo nature found all manner of excuses to oppose him. As they usually say ''Oh why cant Kanu tame his rethoric, ''aha he said this or that about that tribe'', these Igbo people self - are they the only ones suffering, ''ehen Biafra is only for Igbo oh''. What goes around comes around.

Don't expect Igbo presidency anytime soon bro( your tribe should forget it)...Igbo people has voted against Yorubas and the South South supporting Yoruba's presidential ambition/aspirations in the past.(History will not forget that). They casted their votes to the Northerners (Five times).. I guess u r an indomie generation Igbolet.

If you're of d notion that the northerners destroyed this country you also right to say Igbo people destroyed this country
cuz they had Igbo's support during their election into power.

You people sud stop crying fouls so that we will wake up one morning and find an Igbo man as d presidential candidates.

The Northerners political power anytime and every time are the igbos.

2019, it was your politicians and elders up east to be d first to zoned their presidential candidate again to the Northerners, with d notion of getting a free ticket by 2023 after Buhari.

This renders this thread and your positions useless.

I thought you were going to analysis my post?

The topic is why the Fulani have conqurered many tribes politically even when the are in minority.

How many Hausas have been president of Nigeria?

You are obviously a kid...for not knowing that it will be better to allow the north to do a second term. What made GEJ lose 2015 election has nothing to with performance or corruption, but a concensus fact that power sshould shift to the north. Even PDP members from the north voted for Buhari. A stone from Jigawa state could have defeated GEJ.

Igbos have been casting their votes for over 50years to those that you and op thinks destroyed it.

Obasanjo was d Northerners and easterners candidature not Yorubas and south south's candidate which was Olu false.

Awolowo contested three times your tribe voted against him.

MKO abiola contested your tribe was not in support

Olu falae contested you did not supported him.

GEJ failed woefully. he was an slowpoke in power during is tenure.

He brought d Eastern and d northerners closer and segregated the SW thinking that will earn him his second term but he failed.

To me, he is d worst president in Nigerian history and Obasanjo caused it.
bcus he imposed him on Nigerians.

He wasn't politically matured before he got the power na push push Obasanjo push am to reach d presidential position.

From what has been happening...would you say Igbo prefer being a president against wanting autonomy?

What has the north and the west, even SS region achieved for being the president fro 50 years?

All the availabel UN index shows that the SE is better than all other regions...so?

Most Igbos want some form of autonomy to develop at their own pace.

So what would you say of Buhari and the spare tyre mere former commissioner? Are they politically matured?

Haven't you seen that Nigeria has gone several steps backwards?

Buhari could still win in 2019 if he choose to contest. Which tells you that elections have nothing to with performance, as far as Nigeria is concerned. It has to do with tribal and regional circumstances...

...but as a kid, you won't know this.

Igbo Presidency is in the book soonest. let the Yoruba's dare vote against the Igbos when it is time. it is a democracy! Igbos have realised that Presidency does not confer any special privileges to any tribe. The Igbos are progressives and they prosper in whatever situation. however, a wise man once said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Any sane person in Nigeria will reason thus: let us change the cards to the one we have never tried and see how it goes! whether you are sane bro is left to be seen.
