Former Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to a statement credited to former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, who reportedly said the country will collapse if President Muhammadu Buhari is re-elected for second term in 2019.

OBJ was quoted as making this comment at Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University on Friday. Reacting via a tweet, OBJ said Nigeria needed to be freed from the shackles of Fulani.

In FFK's words;

“Baba has stated the obvious. I am glad that he has seen the light. May God bless him. "The struggle is not against Buhari but against what he represents: the hegemony and impunity of the Fulani ruling class and the barbarity of their murderous footsoldiers known as the herdsmen.

It is not a struggle between political parties but a quest for liberation from the Fulani.”
