Oloche Paul, the 17-year-old boy, who recently invented a dummy motorcycle, car and grinding machine from waste plastic products, on Friday encountered his ‘messenger of destiny’ as he was given scholarship to study anywhere outside the country.

The young inventor was also handed over N600, 000k, courtesy of the Ambassador Dickson Akoh Foundation.

WWW.IDOMAVOICE.COM had in August last year exclusively reported how the SS 3 student of a little-known secondary school in Otada in Otukpo constructed and developed machines in his own ways.

After reading the story, Amb. Dickson Akoh, National Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria reached out to this reporter through his foundation on his intention to help make Oloche’s dream come true.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, IDOMA VOICE newspaper organized an event in honour of the young inventor on Friday and was graced by Amb. Akoh, Evang. Okloho Adam, lawmaker representing Adoka/Ugboju state assembly and other prominent Idoma natives.

After exhibiting his inventions, Amb. Akoh made a cash donation of five hundred thousand naira to be lodged in an account, which shall serve to raise endowment fund for young Oloche's university education outside the country.

He also gave N50k for his upkeep while Okloho as well donated N50k in support of the boy’s dream. Other participants equally supported the young man’s dream with cash.

Amb. Akoh thanked the management of IDOMA VOICE for discovering the boy, while assuring that he would do everything within his power to send the young Oloche abroad for his tertiary education courtesy of his foundation.

He also called on other well-meaning Nigerians to help make the young man's dream come true.
