EXCLUSIVE:Dice Ailes opens up on depression, almost giving up music two years ago.

Shasha Damilola Alesh, better known as Dice Ailes in the Nigerian music industry, has confessed that he almost left music at a time.

In an encounter with him, he said, “Before I dropped 'Miracle,' I released 'Machinery,' but it was not big as I wanted it to be. At some point, I was actually depressed. If 'Miracle' had not blown, I would have given up on music actually. I thank God people embraced 'Miracle."

The singer attributed his rise in music to God and determination to create an impact.



He explained, “I just believed strongly in my craft and I continued to work hard. Two years ago, it seemed like it would not happen but my passion for music kept me going. I just believed that someday my time would come. Like I said earlier, before my first national hit song, 'Miracle,' I dropped a lot of good songs that no one paid attention to. It is my drive and God that made me penetrate the music industry.
