In a world where people are ruled by their needs and desires, the choice of money over God has become prevalent. Today, people seek God, not for Who He is, but for what they can get from Him. Other seeks money by selling their souls to the devil. I believe God want us to be rich in wealth, health and every good things of life. But it’s not His will that we choose these things over Him.
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. (Luke 12:15 KJV)
Your prosperity is not a function of how much you possess. Your prosperity is a function of how much of your life Jesus Christ dominates. Our lives are not defined by how much we have, but by how much purpose we understand and execute.
God placed you and me on earth for a reason. But He will not force us to accept that reason or purpose. It’s our choice that will determine where we end up. We don’t exist on earth to make/earn a living. Rather we exist on earth to serve God and His kingdom.
