AKERMAS ENERGY LIMITED IS RECRUITING FOR INSPECTION PERSONNEL FOR LLOYDS APPROVED DIVING AND MOORING INSPECTION SERVICES FOR IN-WATER SURVEY

 Contract Position
 Duration: 2 Years

JOB SUMMARY
An in-water survey is when one makes a diving inspection of a vessel’s structure under water. We carry out both planned surveys, for example. in combination with a classification, and acute inspections, for example. may become necessary as a result of the grounding.

The inspection carried out by a diver who inspects the vessel thoroughly. If there is a classification inspection also requires a supervisor and a surveyor from the classification.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marine survey / Ship Inspection and P&I Correspondents, Experts/ Expertise.
2. Cargo Inspection – Quality Control – Testing – Tallying & Supervision – certification and Damage Survey & Loss Investigation (for Goods – Products, Foods, Cargo, Commodity)
3. Loss prevention / Cargo Tally / Average Adjusters/ Claim Consultants.
4. Fabrication Expediting –Vendor Welding Inspection – Electrical & Mechanical Inspectors - NDT
5. Diving works and Underwater Ship Hull and Parts Cleaning & Polishing.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Must be able to demonstrate organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision making abilities.

2. Must have a high school diploma.

3.Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.

4. Must be highly motivated.

5. Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared responsibilities and resources.

6. Must be able to complete all tasks and assignments safely and environmentally responsibly, including disposal of hazardous waste.

7. Must be able to use computers and email for communication and reporting requirements.

8. May be required to carry a cell phone.

9. May be required to travel and stay overnight at various locations.

10. Must pass a medical examination and receive necessary vaccinations.

11. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

12. Candidate may be required to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
