You Just have to sit down and calculate how much would have been spent on these cars n Keke....such a waste indeed! The monies coul have been utilised for a more meaningful projects like commission of needed primary health care facilities, provision of tractors, or boosting of the Agricultural sector.... Govt needs to sit down and cut back on cheap popularities and frivolities that are not impactful. This is why the likes of Bill Gates and others will continue to mock them and we the citizens ....so sad! |

What a failed state, giving suv to traditional rulers that have nothing to offer to their community smh the money spent on those suv's would have gotten more keke |

ozoebuka1: This is all aimed at winning reelection. Give cars to the traditional rulers to have them sway their subjects (while also keeping yourself in their good books) and give Keke to the youth leaders to have them keep eagle eyes over polling tendencies and keep vigilant at polling units. Of course the youth leaders won't be the one driving the Keke but it's a money making tool for them as they'll give it away on lease/hire purchase etc. That's actually how you win elections, win over the stakeholders, and they'll swing the votes for you. 1 Like |

Ebonyi Government have spent the following on this event: 1. 8,000,000*100= 800,000,000 on SUV 2. 400,000*400= 160,000,000 on Keke 3. 300,000*40,000= 12,000,0000,000 on Agriculture Ebonyi State Government should be commended. |

You call these stupidity dividends of democracy? SUV for economically useless "Kings". I bet one SUV will buy 15 of those Keke. Why not set up a soap factory in each of their domains and see revenue coming in everyday?. |
