Skmoda & Everyone: one ironical issue abt unilorin admission is that, it's nt really one's jamb score that only matters bt the department u r as well applying 4. About 70% of candidate will be admitted on merit. According to the chief admission officers, during admission, each dept has it's own folder containing the names of it's applicant 'but arranged with the jamb score i.e ranging frm the Highest to the Lowest score, and they starting picking candidate frm d Top. So, don't be suprised when a candidate's name who scored 210 come out in d admission 1st list and anoda wit 230 is ignored in d first list (although may come out in the 2nd list). And infact, being in the 1st list matters alot 'cos 2nd list candidates misses so much lectures and might affect thier performance in d exams cos the semester is very short. Courses offered in 2nd list are also mostly the ones that pple don't like. After the 1st list, the admission officers scan the scanty depts especialy that comes frm the faculty of education. What i'm saying in short is that the wise gets admission. Prayers are also necessary. Goodluck!

You can now go to unilorin site 4 the uploading of credentials, and note it is only the people that choose them for first choice that can do the uploading of credentials for now,no provision for second choice for now but let see what they will do may be they will still later consider second choice, For the people that are using D.E you can also do that also you will see you own process by the left hand side of there site and for those people that use awaiting result you are advise to make your result ready before august 15, that is the latest 4 now,

@ all unilorin prospective jst pasn by n I fink I shud dropd some hint: I fink we shud seek advice 4rm U.I undergraduate or precisely d 100 level because goin by d interview,U.I is d only uni d@ I knw d@ do conduct interview in replacement of d post UTME. Unilorin has never done it b4 so we can't say categoricaly w@ dey might ask any of us but since is a departmental interview maybe dey wil ask us qst related 2 our course n if tins go haywire n dey ask u qst outside ur course, If luck is on ur side dey may ask u dis(jst tel us abt urself n why u wanted 2 study ur choice course )remember dere is no time 2 waste dey only ave abt 4 or 5 min wit each student, ok let's luk @ dis real story of a big fnd of mine d@ chose U.I 2 years ago:he told us d@ wen d time 4 him 2 be interview came,he went in(wit d fear of d unknown) postrated on d floor 2 greet d prof/lec but he was shocked as he was getn up(dey asked him d chemical r*n d@ tuk place wen he prostrated but he was dumbfnded(hmm tradition) n he later answerd some of d qst dey asked him n fortunate 4 him is name was on d list, hmmmm

Yes. You will print out the payment receipt, very important you print it.

The Unilorin Stallite are said to resume by Sept. 6 which wil eventually lead to d release of d admission 1st list latest a week to d resumption date. Let me further use dis medium to talk alittle on Accomodation. Apart from d School Hostel which cost #22,000 per section, dere ar 2 areas, very close to each other dat students dominate which are called TANKE & OKE-ODO. Most of d accomodation present in d area mention above are mostly single rooms (which cost averagely #30,000) and self contains (which cost averagely #60,000). But d price may vary pending of d avenue & facilities present. Fresh students are always adviced to get a bed space in d Hostel atleast 4 d 100l section b'cos of some academic, social & environmental factors particularly to ladies. Ladies hostel are up to 4 while male hostel is just 1 although it has 3 compounds in it. Dis is d little i can say 4 now about accomodation, i'll still talk about Unilorin Campus Life & Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) very soon.

SKMODA: since d interview would be conducted after being admitted, den i don't think it wil be for thorough screening. The questns won't be technical, bt dey might just want to know how sharp & smart u r. If any candidate fails the interview, he/she may only be moved to a lesser dept at worst, it's very sure they won't forfeit d candidate admission except he/she had failed woe-fully.
