The 2.5-liter four-cylinder makes 188 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0-liter CV-Turbo four-cylinder makes 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Both are mated to a CVT (all-wheel drive available only with 2.5-liter engine).
Nissan offers an 8-inch touchscreen for its infotainment system. The system now supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Nissan Connect’s connected services. The connected services provide over the air updates, remote locking and unlocking, and remote starting of the car.
The new Altima comes with plenty of standard safety tech, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and driver alertness monitor.
Additional safety equipment includes a 360-degree camera, rear automatic braking, traffic sign recognition, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, high beam assist, and rear automatic braking.
Nissan’s ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving tech. Pro-Pilot assist is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum trim levels.
