consuming huge amount of mobile data when
used for browsing, downloading and streaming.
There are many ways to limit the amount of
data use on an android powered device, but the
best and effective ways to reduce data usage on
android devices will be share here today.
This article will guide you on how to reduce your
mobile data usage.
An android device without an internet
subscription is practically useless, most
applications on smartphones these days require
the internet to function.
This will guide you on how to monitor your data
usage
so that you will enjoy your data plan before its
expiry date.
You can reduce android mobile data
consumption by using data saving browsers like
Opera and Chrome browser by Google, by
restricting background apps, disable auto-update
of apps from Play Store etc.
Here Are Some Ways Listed Below
* Disable App Auto-Update On Playstore
Launch your Google Play Store and
navigate to Settings.
Tap on Auto-update apps and select
“Auto-update apps over WiFi only”.
* Use Data Monitoring App
Just open any of your browser, go to google
search and search for android data saving app
* Limit Data Usage By Restricting
Background Apps.
Background apps secretly runs in the
background of your android device even
when you haven’t launch them or using
them. They do not only consume data, they
also consume your battery. Disabling them
will therefore help to reduce data usage on
android devices.
To restrict or disable background app,
navigate to Settings >> Mobile
Networks >> Data Usage.
Tap on the three dotted buttons at
the top right corner and tap restrict
background usage.
For Xiaomi users running MIUI ROM,
click on Security >> Data usage >>
Restrict data usage.
You can then restrict background
usage of each apps or all from using
mobile data or WI-FI.
* Set Monthly Data Limit
Your android device allows you to set data usage
limit within a period of time, weekly or monthly,
when you get to this usage you get a notification
warning on your phone telling you’ve reached
the data usage limit. To do this, Go to Settings,
Then click Data Usage…
* Reduce Android Mobile Data Usage With
Chrome Browser’s Data Saver.
Chrome in built data saver is one of the best
way to reduce data usage on any android device
and one of the best data saving browser out
there. If chrome data saver is enabled on
android, it helps reduce data usage on android
while surfing the internet, streaming and
downloading.
To turn On chrome browser data saver feature,
navigate to Chrome Settings.
Scroll down to Data Saver and click on it.
Then toggle it On.
* Reduce Android Mobile Data Usage With Opera
Mini Browser’s Data Saver.
Launch your opera app...You will see a small
opera icon at the down menu click it...Then you
will See Data Saving, Then Activate it

Nice tips. I have an issue, don't know if it applies to just me. When I use apps like Instagram, facebook or generally open my browser I tend to have a 'very strong' browsing network, but at the time when I try video call with IMO the network disappers immediately. I don't know if it's the network provider or app. Is there a way I can fix this?

Turn on the data saving mode
I use that always on my tecno Camon CX

Mine is turned on and I even had to turn it off because I want the IMO to be as strong as the instagram as indicated above
