The Tecno camon x is the successor the tecno camon cm.

The Tecno camon x continues the 18:9 aspect ratio featured in the Tecno camon cm with a bigger display.

In this article I am going to be doing a brief comparison of the specs, features and price of both phones to ascertain if the camon x is a worthy upgrade over the camon cm.

DESIGN/BUILD
Camon X : The Tecno camon x despite being the successor of the camon cm, looks alot like the Tecno spark K9.
In coincidence, the Tecno camkn x is a 6 inch device just like the Tecno spark K9 and also features the same design on the rear as the Tecno spark k9.

The Tecno camon x features a plastic build with antenna bands running from left to right on the top and bottom of the rear cover.

Despite the fact that the camon x features a plastic cover, Tecno still prefers to call it an aluminum alloy.

The camon x features a fingerprint sensor below its rear camera.

The camon x features a headphone jack speaker grills on the bottom.

Camon CM

The camon CM has a plastic build with visible antenna bands. The camon CM features a smooth back and round edges it’s predecessor the camon CX has.
The camon CM is about 7.75 mm thick.

The fingerprint reader is located on the rear just below the camera on the left side.

The camon cm features an headphone jack and speaker grills.

VERDICT: Both smartphones share similar designs and build properties. They can easily act as substitutes to each other , when considering design and build.

With each new camon release, Tecno improves the camera quality of the smartphones in the camon series.

Owing to the fact that the camon x features a better camera on the front than its rear, it can be comfortably said that the camon x is a selfie focused smartphone.

Camon cm

The camon CM features a 13mp rear facing camera with autofocus, quad flash.
It also features a 13mp front facing camera with flash.
