La Liga reinstated its authority in the Champions League quarter-final first legs this week with ample recognition in the official tournament team of the week.

Real Madrid have three men in the XI with Barcelona providing two as both sides claimed three-goal wins over Italian opposition, and Sevilla’s battling defeat to Bayern Munich earns Pablo Sarabia a spot.

Also in the line-up are a couple of players from Bayern and three of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, Loris Karius and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joining the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo , Luis Suarez and Franck Ribery.
