In Christianity as it is being practiced in the modern world,many christian and trinitarian sects have layed down religious principles, which they call "doctrines" in a bid to streamline their version of the gospel,and isolate "heresy".
This article highlights some of the common heresies and apostate doctrines that has been generally identified to be creeping into mainstream christianity.


1. The "El-Dorado" heresy(or Neo-Eden heresy); this is the believe that once a person gets converted, he/she automatically gets a problem-free, prosperous and peaceful life. This heresy is often associated with the "new age prosperity gospel".

2. The "Paradise-Is-Guaranteed (PIG)" heresy: this believe holds that a convert is automatically guaranteed irrevocable eternal life, even when he commits subsequent sins post-conversion.

3. The "Neo-Pentecostal" Apostacy(or "Holy-Ghost-By-Force" heresy): A believe that all truly converted and baptized christians must be able to speak in tongues(glossolalia).

You are very correct about the one and two, but the three is wrong. Every Christian have the Holy Spirit in them and they can manifest in the gift of the Spirit if they want to. I have helped several Christians who never thought they could speak in tongues. They had seek for it for years and concluded that God doesn't want to give them the gift. But by the time I was through with them they were speaking in tongues to fluently and after a few days they testified of significant changes in their spiritual life. You can speak in tongues or manifest in whatever gift you want, our Father is willing to give us whatever gift we want.
