Manchester City’s English Premier League title celebration was delayed as they suffered as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.

Paul Pogba was the star on the night as he scored two quick goals to ensure United came from behind to snatch a vital victory at the Etihad Stadium.

City suffered a second straight defeat on Saturday after Wednesday’s 3-0 loss against Liverpool.

The Pep Guardiola side went two goals ahead in the first half, thanks to efforts from captain and defender Vincent Kompany in the 25th minute, and Ilkay Guendogan five minutes later.

The music changed just after the break when Pogba scored two quick goals in two minutes to draw level at 55 minutes of action.

Chris Smalling put the icing on the cake for the Jose Mourinho side when he scored in the 69th minute to seal a 3-2 victory for Manchester United.

City, who has now conceded six goals in two matches, will have to wait for another one week for a chance to lift the EPL trophy.

United, siting second on the league table, now has 71 points from 71 points from 32 matches.
