Morning all,am currently in Jos and I took time out to visit my dad's rabbit farm and dis is what it looks like. He has four males and six females.They were fourteen in number but he lost four of them. The females are currently pregnant and also nursing at the same time. Three of then have 5 babies each and one has 8.Those with five each gave birth to 8 and lost three and the one with 8 gave birth to 10 and lost two. He told me someone wanted buying one of his pregnant female but he refused.The person eventually got it from somewhere at the rate of 12500.Guess what,she gave birth to 14 babies and each goes for 4k.So you can imagine the huge profit made. Anyways,here are pics from the farm.

 Nice rabbits. Truly a great way to make some passive income without much expenses to boot. With a tidy sum one can start a small rabbit farm in as little space as well. Caring for them is not tasking and with proper feeding and hygienic living conditions you are lit! Unlike broilers and other forms of livestock rabbits don't need to be vaccinated. In fact like stated above they little or no need for drugs once hygiene and proprietary feeding is maintained. Feel free to ask as many questions. i had to read again from d start to kno ur location wen u said someone bought a pregnant rabbit for 12k+... cuz here in lagos 12k could get you as much as 3 to 4 adult rabbit, months back wen i went to get one they even begged me to take d preg one but i wanted to buy a male as a gift for my cuz... dat was almost a year back, n i bought it #2500 at ikeja close tp lagos state teaching hospital.... if ur serz i think i might start a rabbit buz there 1 Like |

Rabbits is a good biz...most especially is u deal on pureline...@ segyzpark....DAT should b for cross breeds....but 1500-2500 is d price of a weaner..pending on the breed..it could b higher.....and guys plz read on foliar manure....rabbit urine serves as DAT...wit good result....cunniculture (rabbitry) is d soft work on farming oh.... |
