Some plates numbers have been issued to vehicle owners but its not even assigned to the vehicle on their database.
Nigeria is not Fully Digital yet.

Thanks so much mr readone...may God bless u, on that same FRSC website I checked about 20 car number plates last night and all read invalid. Does dat mean that those cars are all carrying an invalid plate numbers Funny enough the admin didn't investigate anything, all they thought best to do was to place a ban on me.

Pls Mr Cosplay , Gazzuzz , Seun and The rest of the admin, kindly look into this case and unban my account immediately.

The other user you mentioned as being behind your situation hasn't explained how he arrived at his conclusions.

If he did this via the FRSC online registration check, which is just one way he could have arrived at that decision, then I agree in part with the position that it may not be the fault of the vehicle owner. It may, if he didn't register the vehicle properly.

A lot of Vehicles registered from March 2017 haven't been appropriately entered into the FRSC online searchable database yet, or have been entered but with wrong ir incomplete records.

In any case, I am not an admin of any sort here. Just a concerned user like a lot of other concerned users. I do not have any power to ban or unban any users here.

But It would be Interesting if that claim by the other party was the rationale for the disciplinary action against you, as users that committed even more grevious offences against other unsuspecting members in this section still roam this place with little or no reproach.

this is a simple matter ,read from the beggining before jumping to conclusions,plate no doesn't matter to me,but that was the only available data he shared,immediately I cldnt verify plate I asked for vin no..the supposed seller replied and I quote "while others are busy buying you are busy complaining"... and u expect me to still buy from such a person.. I don't need to inspect every car before buying, I only inspect a car I have researched as not stolen or accidented, inspection is just final verification before paying..

Well syntekelite cannot be blamed. He merely reported the information he got from a legitimate source about the vehicle registration. The seller should have provided the VIN even without being prompted, much less after he was asked.

I still fail to see how the seller was disciplined on the strength of just this encounter.
