Ondo State’s First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has received some bashing on Facebook for posting article in support of increment in tuition fees at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA).

Mrs Akeredolu’s effort to justify her husband’s position with the post on her Facebook page set off a firestorm on the page.

The governing council of AAUA had increased tuition fees by 500 percent, taking it from N30,000 to N180,000.

Gov Rotimi Akeredolu also shared, on his Facebook page, his wife’s post titled ‘AAUA and Indispensability of Fee Hike Regime’.

The fees should be increased. The former schedule of tuition in AAUA is an aberration to modern academic society.

The funny thing is that most of these our so called elite enjoyed free education in their time.. Now they are thinking out of the box when solution called be offered free inside the box...
Truth be told now.. Education is over hyped in Nigeria.. Million of graduates earning far less than what he paid for tuition when converted to months...

Is our man made... I have started thinking is a curse...

At the long run, Nigeria still remains my country..
