Polaris is recalling the 2015-2018 Slingshot models in the United States. The recall is due to a seat assembly problem that affects approximately 24,000 units. The problem arose from the improper welding of the bracket anchoring the seat belt and seat back. “If the seat slides unexpectedly, this may increase the risk of a loss of control, or the risk of injury in the event of a crash. If the seat belt buckle and seat back dislodge from the seat base, this may increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash,” Polaris said In 2015, the same vehicle was recalled for a possible steering rack fault and later that same year, 10,000 examples were recalled over faulty headlights. https://autojosh.com/polaris-slingshot-2/ 3 Likes 1 Share
