Google AdSense is a contextual advertising network. Contextual in the sense that they serve ads mainly based on the niche of one's blog or website. If you blog about technology, expect ads which are very closely related to that. The same goes for every other niche like food, religion, relationship and marriage, dating, fashion etc.

They also serve ads based on user interest. That means if you’re a lover of fashion and the keywords you search on the internet revolve around fashion, whenever you stumble on a site that runs AdSense ads, you'll see many ads that are fashion related.

There's no doubt that Google AdSense is the best advertising network in existence so far. Almost every blog, website owner and publisher out there who wants to make an extra income goes for AdSense.

As a matter of fact, almost every serious blogger these days would want to run Google ads on their blog. What is the essence of having a blog that you have to pay for hosting on monthly basis without making a dime from it? Only those who have a lot of money do run such blogs and websites these days.

By estimation, Google AdSense receives 1,000 applications per day from bloggers who want to get approved to run their adverts on their blog, but unfortunately, only about 10 of those applications actually get approved.

Back in 2005, getting approved by AdSense was as simple as ABC, but so far a lot has changed. AdSense now has very strict policies and requirements that many publishers see as crazy. Some have applied for AdSense for more than 50 times without getting approved, while some get approved on the first try or three.

Some bloggers have had sleepless nights praying and editing their blog again and again in order to get approved by Google AdSense but to no avail.

The truth is that getting approved is not as hard as some see it. The secret is taking time to read and implementing AdSense Policies and Webmaster Quality Requirements one after the other. After putting these two major things in place, your chances of getting approved are high.

GOOGLE ADSENSE IN 2018

I've heard people say that they got their blog approved for AdSense within 3 days but I doubt they are saying they did that in 2018. Google AdSense said earlier this year that it will be hard for some blogs and websites to get approved, and that is based on the fact that they've tightened the knobs on their policies more than previous years...CONTINUE READING HERE:

HOW TO MAKE YOUR BLOGGER BLOG PRINTER-FRIENDLY

"Who would want to print out my blog posts in this smart gadgets era?" Some may ask. But you can't predict your users' preference. There are people who still prefer to have handy a hardcopy of a great article they found on the net. But the problem comes when they decide to print out an article on a blog that is not printer-friendly.

THE OUTPUT OF A NOT PRINTER-FRIENDLY BLOG

A blog which is not printer-friendly will print out everything on the page including the adverts, menus and every other irrelevant stuffs on the page. That alone can be so disappointing.

WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR BLOG PRINTER-FRIENDLY

You want people to think good about your blog, right? I cannot tell whether having a printer-friendly blog has a SEO benefit, but it does increase the user experience of your blog/website, and users are the ones who keep a site alive and active! You should put everything in place that will make people stay in your blog for more than 3minutes and desire to re-visit it next time.

I noticed that it is easier to make WordPress blogs printer-friendly, but same do not apply to Blogger blogs. Since I was eager to make my Gospel blog printer-friendly, I stumbled on a solution that worked perfectly!...
