TEYA:
Yet silly Nigerians keep telling us about how Ghanian economy is amazing and how Nigeria is the only country in the world that has poor people. Shay Ghanaian currency has sooooo much value and it can be plucked from trees? Yan buran uba! Average Nigerian in Nigeria knows nothing about anywhere else and is delusional.

I am trying hard to understand what the uproar is for.

All over the world traditionally, men pay women's bills.

Except the actress was saying that Ghanaian women keep sugar daddies (married older men) to pay their bills.

Which again begs the question, what is new?

Is sugar daddyism or men/husband paying the bills of women/wives new?

What is there to be dramatic about?

Stupid questions, stupid answers.
why it's dramatic is because women won't admit it ...instead they will claim independent or say it's what makes them know a man loves them.

But no ...it's not being independent.
it's not love.

and yes it could be;
being a liability.
being a gold digger/love peddler.

or just simply being dependent which is what you have just agreed to.

Not only in Ghana, it happens everywhere

Not really. Western women (Europe, North America) do not depend on men to pay bills. For them, everybody hustles to earn a living, legitimately.

You underestimate the resilience of the feminist female movement. They will keep on marching and preaching their largely unrealistic message. It is inbred in them to see men as a source of funds.
Did anyone else notice that C. Amanpour was actually going to do a facepalm then caught herself just in time to save her professional demeanor ?

Women love money. Thats the truth.

This girl is so dumb, she just cast the whole females in Ghana.

Why not speak for yourself instead making a generalisation about women in Ghana? Is like saying there are no respectable working class women capable of taking care of their bills.
