Yes! Nothing can be changed but it's still the talk of the footballing world. Real Madrid scaled through In a frantic and an almost historic match in the UEFA Champions league through a controversial penalty. Here are 5 good reasons why the penalty shouldn't have stood.

1. IT WASNT A PENALTY! JUST TOO SOFT
Google the pictures to have a paused look. Examine the video. You will see how Vazquez is falling, look his hands in the air and his little jump off the ground. Yes! He went down too easily and the contact wasn't so much. And finally benatia got his leg on the ball too. Yes he touched it. So how's that really a penalty?

2. IT WAS THE 93rd MINUTE
to give penalties in games like this at the dead end is abnormal. This was also echoed by buffon in his post match interview. Soft fouls like that should normally be waved off in such a game.

3. IT WAS AN ANTI FOOTBALL DECISION
Why should Oliver give such penalty in such a beautiful match? Football and the UCL in particular is beautiful due to its thrills and intrigues. We all know a victory for juventus would have been sweeter than one for Madrid, Due to the manner of Victory. No wonder why most football fans where backing juventus. But to end the game like that is just disappointing

4. MICHAEL OLIVER HAD HIS DOUBTS
yes he obviously had his doubts.... Normally benatia should have been sent off but he's left him on the pitch. Probably one part of his mind said NO.

5. UEFA AND MADRID LOVE AFFAIR
before Barcelona used to be accused of being uefa's mistress grin but now it seems that love has shifted to Madrid...few years ago in the UCL final against atletico there were complaints that Ramos scored Beyond the given extra time. Last year the world slammed refereeing decisions against Bayern and now it's juventus. No wonder chiellini held his hands up to the faces of Madrid players asking "HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY".

Well THIS IS FOOTBALL, the beautiful game where everything happens. Normally any decision in the dyying minutes of a match will always be controversial but however we may have to live with it. Hopefully VAR is introduced to UCL and we may see less of this and others like the cancelled SANE goal.

U folks need to stop these annoying rants...it was an obvious pk.
U don't infringe a goal bound player so close to your own goal, inside d six yard box at that.

Benatia was even lucky he wasn't sent off for the challenge.

because he wasn't sent is the more reason why the ref made a very big mistake and make it look like a planned work.... Benatia was already a booking why did the ref didn't Show his second booking since you all claim it's a foul?
