In todays post am going to teach you the ways i used to rank my website earlier this year.
Their are two steps to follow to be able to rank your website normatter the niche you are blogging on.

The two steps are:
ON-PAGE SEO
OFF-PAGE SEO

1: Choose a good hosting: In blogging, its better that you use blogger than to use wordpress with a very poor hosting, Namecheap, Bluehost, Godaddy are all qualified hosting company that can give you what you want, though i don't recommend godaddy, onless you have a better budget to buy their big plans (talking from experience).
2. Use SSL certificate: According to google, ssl certificate helps in ranking, its better to apply it now than to apply it later. If you startup your blog without ssl certificate and later apply it, your ranking will reduce and i know nobody wants to experience such a thing, so don't make such mistake.
3. Use an seo friendly domain: when choosing domain for your blog, use a domain name that is related to your blog, if you are blogging about technology, just make sure that your domain contains name related to tech, so that any body that see your domain without even visiting it will know that your website is all about technology and it also helps in ranking on search engine as your domain contains a keyword.
4. Choose a good them: As site speed realy matters to search engine, its always a good practice to choose a theme that loads within 3sec, forget about the design, sometimes new bloggers make the mistake of choosing themes that contain much javascript. search engine will rank down your site if your website takes time to load.
Its better to use a free theme than to use a nulled premium theme (themes dowloaded from third party websites, those themes are harmful, it will kill your site slowly and mite also lead to your site being hacked. if you dont have money to purchase a premium theme, just use a free theme, i mean mobile friendly themes. the truth is that no website can provide you premium theme for free. just think it your self, you bought a theme around 100$ and you give it to people for free. what they do is to insert malicious codes into the theme and when it seams that your site is ranking, then they will start attacking your site, they might start displaying ads without you knowing of it or they might start creating backlinks from your websites to porn sites and when google discovers this, they will penalyze your website.
5: Use Yoast seo premium: For a better onpage seo you have to use Yoast seo premium ( though the free version of it is good but its good to an extent. but premium version has all you need. just make sure all Yoast seo option Turn from Red to Green. Its very easy to do that,

Do keyword research using Google keyword planner and Moz site explorer, you can search them on google. then when you get a good keyword with low defficulty but high monthly search, then insert it in the Yoast keyword portion, make sure your keyword is found in your content upto 5 to 10 times, type your main keyword on google and copy the related keywords on the bottom of google search results and paste them within your paragraphs, put them in bold. This will help your site in ranking as your site will also be displayed on search results when someone searchies for those related keyword.
6: Insert inbound links: Inbound links are links to your other posts and when you insert them it will pass link juice to them and that will help those posts in ranking and you have to put them as DOFOLLOW, your inbound links must be dofollow. Yoast seo normally suggest inbound links that you could insert in your content, insert them within your paragraphs.
7: Insert outbound links: Outbound links are links to other sites and they should be NOFOLLOW links, by default wordpress always set all links as dofollow but i use a plugin to change my outbound links to nofollow. Your outbound link should be linked to related sites and should be linked using a keyword.
8. Include paragraphs, heading, subheading, bold texts in your posts so that search engine will know that your content is well uptimized.
Your post title should begin with your keyword and your keyword should appear on your post url and make sure your post url is not long (www.example.com/seo-that-works-2018-by-loadedrock/). thats an example of seo friendly url.

Insert images and their alternate text should contain your keywords so that those images will rank too.
