A member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and a female aspirant for Ward 2 councillorship in Bonny, Rivers state, has raised an alarm after her staunch supporter was attacked and injured yesterday by some political thugs ahead of Tuesday's primary election.

According to Ruth Dienye Hart, the brutal attack was sponsored by a desperate councillorship aspirant who wants her dead.

Below is what she wrote on Facebook;

NOTICE TO THE WORLD. NONE OF THESE WILL MAKE ME STEP DOWN;

The Ward2 Election is Tuesday and a desperate Councillorship aspirant wants me dead. See what Melvin passed through at about 7:30pm Sat 14th April 2018 for Supporting my Vision. Bring your men to the field then we will know who serves a living God. RDHVISION FOR TRUE REPRESENTATION..
