Should we also not be reminded of the millions of almajiris roaming the streets and begging for food while their governors steal billions of dollars under the guise of establishing schools in Niger Republic?
The almajiris are ready tools for implementing Ayatollah Buhari’s fatwa to soak dogs and baboons in blood.
The parents of those youth corpers killed in 2011 because Buhari lost election remain inconsolable.

Is that a justification for failure, especially in the SS?
The SS gets significantly more, have less burden on their infrastructures...
The people of the SS truly deserve more.

|Re: Kano At Night (Video, Photos) by CoolAmbience(m): 4:22am On Apr 16|
You must be kidding to say this.
You sincerely want to know what the North offers?
Go into the kitchen of your parents' home and make a list for yourself...but ensure you don't include meat, onions, beans, tomatoes and yam 'cos I am sure you don't consume those.

Kano is rich? Is that why Kano state has unilaterally renounced its sharing of the national cake?
Why won’t it be rich with 44 LGAs compared to 20 (less than half) in Lagos state, which they dashed a lesser population than Kano in the last census of 2006?
How many LGAs are in the southern states where oil revenues and alcohol VAT is generated for sharing in Abuja monthly
Is it any surprise that the north does not want restructuring and fiscal federalism? If the south wants it, then they will have to fight for it in a united way.
|Re: Kano At Night (Video, Photos) by seguno2: 4:35am On Apr 16|
Are they shared monthly in Abuja like the federation account also or they are bought by southerners?
How much taxes do the farmers of these agricultural products pay into the federation account? What % of the federation account does it represent
Are you sure that you know what you are talking about?

If Kano roads are upto this standard,I wonder d foolishness behind federal govt for allowing apapa road 2 remain in dis condition,if not for pure madness we know what federal govt generate from tin-can and wharf alone is more than 5 time the turnover they make from the whole of Kano state...we need a performing governor that have done really well in a state or someone like prof yemi osinbajo the Vice President that turn around the country epileptic economy in just 2 months in the absence of the president, that’s the kind of leader that can make this country great again.

It's sad that people can come on social media with concocted lies which appeal to prejudices.
They know there would be many who would buy the lies without any form of investigation.
The story was cooked up. As I said earlier, this same contributor claimed to be an undergraduate at ABU in the late 90's.
How then was he a corp member in 1991?

am not a northern so u won't say am speaking in favour because am from there.
first: I'll dispute the fact which u said that "kano is built by SS oil money"
I was opportune to serve in kano state as a corper. and ever since then I was forced within me to shade off the old philosophy I had against the north.
prior before now agriculture was our main stay and a sector which our dear nation was surviving on. and till today agriculture( I may not say the main stay of our economy) is still driving our economy.
the people of SS survive also from the hard work of the north. mostly all the farm produce we consume in this country is from the north.
I wept at my first visit to kano.
the zeal and hard work of these people.
the business opportunity there,
kano state is highly organize.
no police will ever stop u and demand money. u hardly see police on the High way collecting money from people or harassing people.
an average northern (that I've met) are very honest.
almost everything is very cheap.
I give a round of applaud to their town planner
different market for different commodities.
the good infrastructure. ( kano state has the longest overhead bridge,)
good electricity supply (that I ask a friend our we still in Nigeria)
non of this things are been done by the federal government. the question now is what is our own governors doing (SS AND SE Governor)

And this is why even as a Deltan, I am quite vehement against the prejudices we espouse on this forum.
I had my youth service in Sokoto and I witnessed the same conviviality, enterprise even if agrarian, of these same people we love to vilify.
As dem dey say, who no go no know.

Willing buyer meets willing seller, assuming that your tribal label is true.
Meanwhile, is there no government in Kano state to deal with the codeine dealers if they consider it a problem? Perhaps they don’t see it as a problem, otherwise with all the federal allocation that they receive monthly, from oil revenues and alcohol VAT, they can easily resolve the issue. What do you think
