APC VS APC IN EKITI STATE

SEGUN ONI GOES VIOLENT IN IFAKI! !!!

A gubernatorial aspirant under the umbrella of the All Progressives Party APC, Engr. Segun Oni has gone violent in his home town of IFAKI Ekiti by personally supervising the tearing of Dr. Kayode Fayemi' s posters and maiming of Fayemi's supporters. As we write, some of the maimed Fayemi's supporters are lying critically injured at the Federal Medical Centre FMC Ido-Ekiti. The thugs were arrested but Segun Oni secured their release and again led them to tear Fayemi's posters and attack his supporters in that town driving many of them away from their homes.

This was how Oni unleashed terror on Fayemi's supporters in the 2007 elections and 2009 rerun elections in the town. We wonder why Segun Oni did not tear posters of other aspirants including those of PDP aspirants in the town and why his own posters in Oye LGA which is the LGA of Dr. Fayemi were not torn!

Segun Oni went to the ridiculous extent of calling a meeting of his thugs where he gave them a blanket order to maim any Fayemi's supporter and assured them that nothing will happen thereafter as he is well connected at the Presidency!

Segun Oni should be told in clear terms that he has no monopoly of violence and this violent attitude would not earn him the APC gubernatorial ticket.

We call on the security agencies to call Segun Oni and his thugs to order before his anti- social behaviour leads to a breakdown of law and order!
