VOICES OF THE STREET

When will the streets​ be clean
And free
And healthy
And be in peace?
.
What of the children clothed with unclothedness
Broom-like beings that could be broken into tiny pieces?
Some pregnant with belly like fifa football
The girls molested and shared amongst men
.
The children suffer the consequences
Forced into labour
Pushed into roads and dragged into slavery
When will the streets be clean?
.
Mothers with heavy pregnancy
And still have to be strong for another to hang on her back
Laboured. The sun and Moon could now recognize them
And still have to be mothers and wives
.
The children we see illegal act illegally
The streets hands them guns and drugs
And behavior as bad as the street
Smiling​ ignorantly and crying knowing-fully
.
The sky is the roof above them
Some become tenants under bridges
And buildings abandoned and uncompleted
Others are car owners only in the night
.
Dirt sprinkled like stars over the sky
Sickness dominating proudly with lots of agents
The water and environment are like mad men. Tattered
Food is almost going extinct. Contraband
.
When will the streets​ be clean
And free
And healthy
And be in peace?
