IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATE ON WARD 16, ONELGA, UNACCEPTABLE.

The drama that unfolded in ward 16 in Onelga puts the issue of fraudulent imposition of candidate to the front burner today.

There was massive turn out for one of the candidate, Prince Obi Nnamdi Michael, but unfortunately, he and his massive team of supporters were disappointed having waited from 8 am in the morning till 4pm in the evening without the appearance of any party official to address the group.

Just some blocks away, a rival candidate who has been a favorite of the party bigwigs in Onelga, were celebrating the selected candidate in a lavish party.


A source from their group who visited the OMN group showing solidarity for the princely candidate, touted them and hinted that they were wasting their time as they had foreknowledge of the preferred candidate.


This happens to be a mockery of what the governor of the state, Chief Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike said over the week that there shall be no imposition of candidates on the electorate in Rivers.
